Today’s card is a simple Thank You card made using Distress Inks, Versamark Watermark Stamp Pad, WOW Opaque Bright White embossing powder, and white and red cardstock.
I used a stamp I bought at a thrift store so I’m not sure what make it is. I repeated the pattern across the white cardstock with the Versamark ink, and heat embossed it with the white powder. For the Distress Ink blending, I started with Spiced Marmalade, used a combination of Abandoned Coral and Pickled Raspberry in the middle, and ended with Mowed Lawn.
I used another piece of white cardstock, put it through the Silhouette Portrait using the Sketch Pen Holder and a regular black pen. For the sentiment, I used the font Ostrich Sans Dashed – a font that works great with the Silhouette sketch feature. I cut the base of the card out of Canson Mi-Teintes textured cardstock, using the silhouette, perforating the fold. The label says it’s red (#505) but it almost looks more like a deep hot pink when combined with the inked up card.
I’m entering this greeting card into the Color Throwdown’s challenge #389:
